Substructure Application Procedures

Step 1: Initial Onsite Inspection. Mold Solutions of Minnesota's certified technicians thoroughly inspect each facet of the property, carefully noting any areas of concern for existing mold, water intrusion, open windows, visible leaks, and excess moisture. Mold Solutions of Minnesota certified technicians take moisture tests and tempature readings to ensure the proper application environment. A detailed report of these valuable findings is provided to the customer. In the event existing mold is discovered, it is eradicated by the use of Microbe Guard "MMR" treatment that kills and removes mold on contact.

Step 2: HEPA Vacuum to Ensure a Quality Application. Meticulous HEPA vacuuming is essential to the proper application of Microbe Guard EPA registered antimicrobials. Mold Solutions of Minnesota's certified technicians are trained to search for areas where sawdust and other minor particles would otherwise go unnoticed. The use of HEPA vacuums minimizes the transferance of collected particles. Special attention is given to all exterior and interior wall cavities and under any openings where water intrusion could occur.

Step 3: Poly Areas Not Requiring Antimicrobial Treatment. All windows, doors, and other areas where the Microbe Guard antimicrobials could adversely affect the surface are meticulously protected with poly. This painstaking process ensures that our antimicrobial treatment will in no way affect any shiny surface or permanently seal in dirt, fingerprints or other unwanted marks.

Step 4: Application of Microbe Guard Antimicrobials. Mold Solutions of Minnesota's certified technicians are thoroughly trained in the art of applying antimicrobials. Areas where water intrusion might be a factor such as wall cavities beneath windows, bathrooms, undersinks, and doorways receive special treatment.

Step 5: Post-application Inspection. A thorough post-application inspection is conducted to ensure proper application of the antimicrobials has taken place. After approving the application treatment, Mold Solutions of Minnesota's certified technicians post a completion certificate on the inside of the property. This certificate includes the signature and certification number of the authorized technician who performed the services.
