DURABAN RTU is an antimicrobial that may be used in the prevention of mold/mildew/bacteria/fungi in new construction. It can be applied to a wide range of substrates including but not limited to: wood, concrete, cement, plastic, fiberglass, wallboard and others to impart antimicrobial, antibacterial and biostatic properties. This formula molecularly bonds to most surfaces utilizing a silanol group. It is this feature that provides a durable new surface on items it is applied to during the application process. The molecular bond of this antimicrobial does not allow the product to diffuse into the surrounding environment. It does not wash off or out, and maintains its effectiveness over time. This product exhibits a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity, and is effective in controlling various microbes.
